Message: loosing many key conservative supporters. The Republicans are leaving many in their base behind to go after the middle of the road, or "independent", fickle-minded voters. This would be why I would consider myself a conservative first, and a Republican second, because of people like Bush, and Arnold (did not want to attempt to spell the last name) are not true Conservatives. I would
not say they are imploding they are just adjusting toward the middle as the Democrats move more to the left.
