Canada is a VAST country with insanely variable weather. Its 18 degrees Celsius and sunny right now, but I could be building a snowman with a 3 hour drive.

My only Canadian winter experience is on the West Coast (which rarely drops below freezing, unless you count last year's bizarre cold snap), to Edmonton Alberta, which can get COLD. Lets just say that there were days when we couldn't play hockey because the ice was so brittle from the cold it couldn't be skated upon.
