where it does say, anyway. For what it's worth: "Note: The prefix non- may be joined to the leading word by means of a hyphen, or, in most cases, the hyphen may be dispensed with. The list of words having the prefix non- could easily be lengthened."

At any rate, if Naruki had meant it to be taken in the altogether, wouldn't a hyphen have been placed between "warmongering" and "peacenik"? They do seem to be used frequently in the on-the-fly-compound-creation.
