Anyone here know about by hadji 2006-11-19 12:55:59
programming for Exchange 2000 and Active Directory on a 2000 server?

We're having in issue with which our programmer is being uncooperative (because he doesn't know the answer and doesn't want to admit it).

He wrote an app to disable certain AD accounts based on certain criteria we've specified. With this app being in place now, we're having an issue where when these accounts are disabled, they lose a property/field/attribute called a MasterAccountSID. The effect of this is that no one, not even admins, can logon to the corresponding email mailbox.

When I tell him of the issue, he gives me the code and tells me to find the problem. o.O Yes, I'm going to talk to his manager about this.

I'm not asking anyone to do this guy's job for him, but I was wondering if anyone might have some previous experience or existing knowledge of this issue.

I've found a quick fix, but I'm trying to find the root cause. If anyone would like to correspond by email, my address is this username at sdf.lonestar.org. Thanks. :-)
