I play soccer with a general contractor named Ben. His crew were doing some carpentry and dry-wall on some new townhouses (sort of one big long building split into individual living units) and they were having some difficulties with the crew doing the plumbing and heating.
At one point, Ben's company was finished with the dry wall and the plumbing crew had to move something from one unit to the next so they cut through the walls. Of course, Ben had to go back and redo the drywall. Ben was not a happy camper.
Ben was working in one of the last units and heard the plumbing guys working in the basement trying to hook up the drainage pipe. Another friend of mine working with Ben looked over at him as I heard his tool belt hit the floor. Ben was unzipping his pants.
"Ben, you can't p___ down the pipe. That would just be wrong." my friend said.
"Oh, I'm not going to p___ down it..." was Ben's reply.
The guys in the basement were not ammused. Ben, however, thought it was hilarious.
Revenge can sometimes be a stinker. ;-) |
