Question of the Day! by kickstart2006-11-19 12:26:49
A minor practical joker had gone on vacation from by NOLAWitch2004-09-24 05:53:15
Another few car capers... by inittab 2004-09-24 06:22:28
Instead of "saran wrapping" my friend's car...
we "tied it up" from the INSIDE. Take a spool
of packing twine, get in the car, and start tying
everything to everything else.

radio knobs - stick shift - rearview mirror - dome light
head rest - door handles - lock knobs - and so on

Start from the front seats, making sure the doors are not
able to open, you can leave them unlocked. Work your way
to the back seat, and exit from the back passenger side.

------

Alternate: Get a wood block that will support the car's weight.
jack up drive wheel on passenger's side. Dig out a hole under
that tire, so it can't reach the ground, and will only spin.
Put the wood block under the car's frame, so everything looks
normal, at the same height. When the car is put in gear, it
will not go anywhere. Even the drive wheel on the ground stays
still, since the differential gears transfer torque to the other
wheel that is spinning. After a good laugh, just push the car
off it's block, and let him drive off. Side note: If this joke
is played on you- sometimes you can transfer torque back to the
tire on the ground, by pressing on gas and lightly on brake at
the same time- adding resistance to the spinning wheel, and some
push to the wheel on the ground.
