Did I really need to hear that?

I was just listening to the radio on the way in and I hear the dreaded:

*warrrble* *warrrrble* *warrrble* *beeeeep*
"This is an LP-1 issued test of the Emergency Alert System, if this had been an actual emergency, important information would follow. This has been a test of the Emergency Alert System."
*bzzt* *bzzt* *bzzt*

What gets me is that this isn't the required monthly test--that would be conducted on Monday the 27th at 1:50pm. And since they said it was an LP-1 issued test, it means that someone's EAS receiver hasn't been working properly.

*too stressed out right now*
