There's some money swilling around F1, there's no doubt about that but to me that's irrelevant. Have you ever stood at the track side as an F1 car accelerates past? It makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck just thinking about it. OK, the racing isn't as good as BTCC or even Champ cars but they are just so exhilarating to watch even though you know that smuggy Schumacher is going to be out in front every time. And of course the first race at a new track is extra exciting.
