(yes, I am German):
either we add India, Brazil and Japan and Germany, as Germany showed signififcant support for UN activities in the last 10 years; also concerning diplomacy, Germany showed quiet but remarkable success; recently also outside of Europe.

The alternative would be to make the number of permanent seats smaller. Although I'am a (convinced) European, Europe is too heavy there. As England behaved (internationally only!) in the last years as a true vassal (ally) of the USA, they would make a good candidate to be kicked out.
