a friend of mine used to cycle to the pub and lock his bicycle to the lamp-post outside it. Well, one night, a trio of us had a nasty idea, "went to the toilet", slipped out of the back door, and climbed the lamp-post, pushing his bike up ahead of us. We then slipped the chain off the lamp-post, and slid the bike itself on there - with the post passing through the frame. We then climbed back down, with the now permanently attached bicycle.
Last time I looked, everything removeable had been removed, but the frame was still there, because nobody could work out how it had got there... |
