No, I dont think so, however, the pump in this thing is floating on rubber blocks, sitting in water, inside a sizable chuck of Alu. I think dansdata.com reviewed it, and described it as effectivly silnt, he also commented that adding a big slow fan to it improved performance incredibly, and only made it Increidibly quiet, instead of allmost silent
