although relationships that depend on it seem to distintegrate eventually - sometimes after many years. eg friend of mine, now dead, whose marriage depended on it as they always seemed to finish up working on opposites sides of whatever continent they were on - UK/EU, US, Aus ... . She had impeccable taste in men, he .. well, his gfs were quite acceptable :P At her funeral, the now ex-husband was comforting the last bf - all very civilised. (It was one of the gf who insisted on him getting divorced ...)
Poor sad little man .. I hope you took great delight in trashing his emails? Altho theres something not quite satisfactory in dumping virtual trash .. tearing up paper and/or burning it is so much more ... *releasing* :P |
