| New York city makes me nauseous |

(now, don't get offended, I'll explain!)
I see all those really tall towers ... so close together ... then I picture myself on the streets, looking up ... and I get dizzy and nauseous. I clamber for wide open green space. I want the buildings gone - they ruin the view. The bridges can stay, they seem kinda pretty.
Gee, good think that New York is farther from Boston than I originally thought! I was planning to spend a few days in New York then I realized how far apart they are and decided that Boston and that area (New England, if my guidebooks serve me correctly), will do just fine. :) I still think tackleing New York sometime might be fun, just not this trip. And not until I quit getting nauseous. |
