I homebrewed a setup together from another pc mods supplier, home depot, the goodwill, and an online auto parts store. grand total as it sits now is about $105. I am not terribly impressed with the temps, they're better than air cooling but not as low as most people say they get. I have a feeling, however, that the inexpensive pump I got isn't puting as much water through the system as one of the ehims that are rather popular.
oh, and the thinkgeek site is giving me http500s, so I don't know what you're all commenting on (but i have a feeling it's one of those self contained passive radiator reservoir pump dealies that look nifty) |
