I was happy my wife is comming home (and still am for the most part). I was happy that today is payday and the paycheck has a little extra money on it from last wednesday when I put in a couple extra hours. I was looking forward to dropping my check off and stopping at the store to get round loaves of sourdough bread and big cans of beef stew and clam chowder to meak breadbowls out of. I was even looking forward to the OT as stated above because it meant the possibilty of correcting problems that have been bothering me for months now.
Then the excrement interfaced with the rotary air mover and happened to get all over me. Now instead of happy homecoming, it's going to be my wife preturbed that she got pulled over. Instead of happy OT where I can look at the new computer hardware I'd like to buy, I have to sit here and force myself to not look because it'll just make me more depressed and angry. It seems that it never fails: whenever you get more money, something comes along to take it.
I mean, I try to be an optomist as much as possible, but I FSCKING HATE MURPHY AND HIS STUPID LAW(S)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
