at first. You mistakenly assume "the truth" in a given situation necessarily has to include "all of reality for ever and ever".
It doesn't.
Based on that assumption, you think that someone claiming to understand the truth in a given situation is misleading people who should naturally assume he means the truth of everything everywhere.
They shouldn't. What's more, they don't. Only unreasonable people would make that kind of silly assumption.
Given this new information, hopefully you will understand that your perceptions may be faulty in a given situation, or they may be accurate. Just because I perceive things differently does _not_ mean _both_ of us are wrong. |
