Need help with Outlook 2k3 and Windows XP by scragman 2004-09-22 14:06:39
When adding a phone number in Outlook 2003, the computer brings up the phone and modem options box and it won't close (clicking the X or cancelling only prompts for conformation, then it comes back regardless of answer) Stopping the offending process stops outlook as well. Best part? I can't fill in all of the information as there are no countries to choose from in the country list (couldn't complete location information if I wanted too). Formatting isn't an option as this is a clients machine. I have a feeling that outlook is trying to format the phone number and wants to use the phone and modem options to properly format it (add the area code and such). But Since I can't select a country I can't complete it. Any ideas anyone?
