just set a Hawking print server... by out2lunch2004-09-22 12:50:42
  We have a Hawking HPS12U by altordwm 2004-09-22 14:00:04
I found this to be an issue so far...

We install our network printers on our Win2K server using TCP/IP, share the printers, and map the users to the printer queues on the server.

This setup works great with HP JetDirect. This does not work well with this Hawking model. For whatever reason, when the job is complete it doesn't tell the queue on the server. The server tries to reprint it and next thing you know you have a dozen copies of the same document.

If you map the user directly to the print server, it works fine. Only when you are trying to share the printer does this issue occur.
