History is, IIRC, the *only* discipline where getting an advanced degree (Masters) actually means you get paid *less* than those with History undergrads. I figure this is probably because MAs in History are actually trying to work in the History field (which pays carp), versus the undergrads who are working at the more lucrative (and likely boring as heck) business jobs.

Still seems crazy though. I saw this in the Star Phoenix and I know they didn't come up with it themselves so I'll see if I can find a link to the full article.
