That's not exactly solipsism; solipsism is the idea that the perceiver is the only entity in the universe, or at least that the perceiver has no reason to believe there are any other, independently existing, entities in the universe.
Still, there is a connection; you seem to be saying that if no one is around to detect an occurrence, then any statement about the occurrence is neither objectively true nor objectively false (i.e. it has no objective truth value). The standard way of understanding the universe, however, is that it does have an objective truth value, which is, however, unknown. |
