hijacked at the time. I'm trying to remember if the aid specifically told Bush that the country was under attack and used that wording. If so, he's a lamer for not excusing himself to go deal with the situation. If not, then I'll give him a slide for not having a clue of the seriousness of the situation. So your assertion that "no one" knew is incorrect. Lots of people knew something was terribly wrong, but not enough was being done about it at the proper levels of authority.
