I don't recall Bush ever saying he served in Vietnam. Or in any foreign war, for that matter. And if he had, I'm confident that Rather WOULD have checked that one out to see if it was a false statement. Rather has a way of taking for fact the things he wants to believe and tell, but taking as rumor or conjecture the things he doesn't want to believe or tell. In fact, a good chunk of the media is that way. Some on one side, some on the other. It's tough to find nuetrality.
