I had a programming prof at college that wrote a program to do some funky transparency stuff using two images and fading them through. This was on a nice new Amiga. In the middle of testing the program his monitor went POP! He took the monitor back and got a new one under warranty. When he ran the program again the new monitor went POP! After hooking up the third monitor, he deleted the program. ;-)
