The basis of that 'knowledge' was a single person, who had given duff info in the past and was considered by many within the intelligence community to be unreliable.
The reason why no evidence has been found, is because there is none to be found. The only NBC weaponry found out there was a small cache of old shells. That is NOT a weapons program.
You cannot hide an active weapons program that well.
Ignoring the problem of where they are being made, it takes many hundreds of workers to manufacture the weaponry in any useful quantity and to test it. Such people have NOT been found. |
