FYI/Linux Business Desktop by kubulai 2004-09-22 11:53:29
Just for laughs: guess these guys should get someone else to host their seminar.

The Ziff-Davis e-seminar, "Linux Business Desktop, Challenges and Solutions for Enterprise Development" ... today 9/22 at 2:00PM EST, has a "home page" that asks you to "test" your desktop for proper multi-media capabilities. Their response to my Fedora Core 2:

"Failed We have detected that your operating system does not meet the optimal webcast specifications for listening to and/or viewing webcasts. We recommend the following operating systems: Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
Please note that users with Windows NT 4.0, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 95, Mac and Unix operating systems may experience difficulties listening to and/or viewing webcasts. Please contact your network administrator regarding any operating system upgrades."

It also says my Mozilla flunks because it is not Microsoft IE. But they are suposedly experts in Linux....
