BS beyond the bounds of credibility.
Having a counter-spin may slow the rate of delusion, in the short term; but in the long term, it only prevents the
PTB from ever getting careless enough to really step in it (the BS, that is). If, for example, there had been some
effective form of counter-spin, regarding King George III's handling of "his" colonies, in North America, he might
have been craftier, and retained a chunk of his empier, that is now "spin central".
