There's a stereotype I'm sure you're familiar with: everything in Texas is bigger. That came from the attitude of a lot of Texans visiting other places and bragging. Not to say that all Texans do that, but it's a well-known stereotype now. So, many Texans realize that us small-landers are just jealous. ;-p Or they just think the whole thing is silly, but understand other folk being annoyed by it. To be honest, I really didn't think about Texas much until I started hearing about Bush. I think he's done more to poison the reputation of that state than anything else.
