Shaw has Shaw On Demand by MikeCDN 2006-11-19 12:55:59
clicky which lets you send movies straight to your shaw digital cable box, if you have digi cable and internet access with them. Okay collection (not great not many new releases), you get the movie for a day, access through the website, and better prices then renting in a shop, more convient then traditional PPV. I doubt they'd ever switch to DVDs, or set up a service which competes with that.

I'd say online rentals is the easiest solution, and most cost effective, only problem is if you want a new release NOW, Shaw on Demand, is then the next best bet (since the movie is always in), if they don't have it then traditional video store.
