Win2k3 SBS Help Needed - VPN by YakkoWarner2004-09-22 08:54:10
How about terminating at the firewall instead? by bearman 2004-09-22 10:21:26
Providing that you don't plan to have too many tunnels connected
at the same time, the PIX is perfectly capable of terminating the
VPN connections.
If you are terminating at the SBS server for the purpose of using
local usernames you can configure the PIX to use a RADIUS server.
Internet Authentication Service (IAS) is addable service on Win2K
and Win2k3 (not sure about SBS) that provides RADIUS auth.
Terminating to the firewall will allow you to assign a different
subnet to the VPN clients and not worry about any routing issues.
