No set time for returning them. If he watches all 8 in one day and returns them, Netflix will ship out 8 more the moment they get the returns. He can also watch 2 and ship him back and they will be replaced even before he has returned the others. He can also leave all 8 sitting on a shelf for several weeks and they won't care.
