Thanks and the shipping back is free right? by celticess 2004-09-22 10:07:19
ie included in the membership cost. You see I go to rogers videos which is about a 5 min drive from where I live. If a drove thats not bad. But by bus it's 2 buses and the route is very limited if I happen to need to go out on a sunday. The dvd rentals are about $4 per dvd if a new rental and the dvd's if they are just released are only 1 day rentals... if they've been out I think about a week they become 2 day rentals and after a few weeks they are a 5 day rental after an month I think they then become 7 days rental.(times are based on how long from inital release btw before they end up a 7 day rental)... I have to return them by 11pm on the day they are due which isn't too awful.

There are blockbusters around here too but again at least 2 buses to get to one. So I'm wondering if something like this might be worth my while though really I usually only rent dvd's one weekend a month as a treat to me and my son. But that one weekend for 3 dvd's costs me around $23 cdn.

I'm pondering though if with the mailing times if at max you'd only ever have out in a total month 12 videos... even then if the price was like $22cdn my gosh that is cheap or in the very least comparable depending on what your watching.
