it's not exactly correct. Getting disability benefits for Veterans and government workers has always been tough. During the Reagan years an individual I knew lost his right arm below the elbow. They wanted to deny him because his injury was a "result of human error" i.e. his own. Yeah right, his job was to conduct cook off tests of 5" shells, three people verified the chamber was cool enough for him to chamber the next round, the instrument data backed him up and the damned shell exploded. Yet it's his fault?

My mom's disability fight was during the Bush 1 years, I saw several during the Clinton years, mine goes from Clinton to now notice a trend?

Bush is not the first President to cut benefits, Clinton even cut them for active duty personel, I doubt he will be the last. I have NO faith Kerry will even maintain the status quo. Based on his record, he'll cut even deeper.
