Well the reason for the court appearance is that they have had a couple of deaths in workzones. Now that being said were their any workers present? If not thats one thing you can definitely fight. Other than that If you do choose to pay a fine I'm not to sure they'll let you do that, The fine could be really high. 150 to 300 IIRC. Their should be a phone # on the ticket. Or just call the Illinois state patrol for that area. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Later, Erich
