chuckle -so here's a coupla tangential ruminations... I think - Didn't Thomas Jefferson pose the suggestion that the Constitution be ripped up every 19 years and re-written? Can you imagine what sort of country we'd have, had we actually done that through the years? For better or worse? What would the right to bear arms look like? I don't know, I literally can't imagine it. Here's an unfunny one: That quote was from the Michael Moore movie, right? Some people in our fellowship refused to see it - sight unseen - just assumed it was all lies and rejected it out of hand. And had some pretty vitriolic language too, for something they had no actual information about. grrr You try not to be mad about it, but - Is there even a right response to that sort of attitude? Who knows? I dunno.
