*chuckle* -so here's a coupla tangential ruminations...

I *think* - Didn't Thomas Jefferson pose the suggestion that the Constitution be ripped up every 19 years and re-written? Can you imagine what sort of country we'd have, had we actually done that through the years? For better or worse? What would the right to bear arms look like? I don't know, I literally can't imagine it.

Here's an unfunny one: That quote was from the Michael Moore movie, right? Some people in our fellowship refused to see it - sight unseen - just assumed it was all lies and rejected it out of hand. And had some pretty vitriolic language too, for something they had no actual information about. *grrr* You try not to be mad about it, but - Is there even a right response to that sort of attitude? Who knows? I dunno.
