ATTN Illinois UFies -- somewhat urgent by psychoi3oy 2004-09-22 09:17:18
My wife just got a ticket in IL for doing 64 in a (normally 65) area of I-80 that was apparently a work zone and 45mph.

For these kind of tickets, according to the cop, she has to appear in court. We live in Colorado. Is there any way she can just pay the fine and not appear in court? It is nearly impossible (and rather implausable) for her to drive another 20 hours there and back to somewhere near Moline, IL for a court date set sometime in October. NOT GOOD.
