You have nothing to lose but your sense of proportion (of which arguably, you had very little with which to begin). Although modern movie houses and live theaters are generally specialized facilities, this was not always the case. And I can think of at least one theater facility, a large one at our local university of nearly 30,000 students, that is used quite nicely for both live acts and films. My point is that the distinction is really a nitpick.
