judgement in basing secular policy on what amounts to religious tenets. I really don't care what he believes and practices for himself and his family; I'm supremely honked off that he's using that model for the governance of a polyglot country. Do you realize that none of the so-called "Faith Based Initiative" money has gone to any faith besides Protestant Christians? Not even the Catholics qualify apparently. The attitude for which I would damn Bush the most is arrogance that none of the rules of diplomacy or etiquette or science or a vast array of disciplines apply to him. He is the rich boy above it all. No repercussions will ever befall him. That attitude incenses me to no end. I mean, Jimmy Carter was a devout Christian, but he was humble about it and not the smirking @$$hole that Bush is.
