So, I went to the hospital yesterday after being referred there from my doctor. Without going into too much gory detail I and he were concerned about bowel cancer. Turns out it was just a nasty case of "farmer's" (look up UK rhyming slang for "Farmer Giles" or "Nobby Stiles" if you are curious or don't get it). Anyhoo, after suffering the ignomy of having assorted cameras inserted into the bit of me where the sun don't shine (one of which I am sure must have been a Panaflex with Cinemascope & glorious Technicolor) and the embarrasment of a rather pretty red-headheaded nurse telling me what a good boy I was being while this was going on, the ~~butcher~~ surgeon tells me that he can fix the problem right here and now. Painlessly. He lied. About the "painless" part. Bigtime. All I need now is a cowboy hat and a name change to "Rooster". xo(
