My heart goes out to you and your son. I too have lost several people including my dad,his sister and one of my two best friends from highschool to cancer. On the other hand, I spent a summer at the local childrens hospital supporting a frined who's daughter was being treated for a tumour on one of her kidneys. She didn't respond to the chemo, and eventualy they removed the kidney. She has not been 2 years with out any symptoms. I don't recall you mentioning how old your son is, but research does help, and the funding raised for research is essential to keep finding better ways of understanding this terrible disease. I met Terry Fox in Toronto when he was running and managed to shake his hand. That was years ago but his courage to go on has made a lasting impression with me.
