"traditional" family recipe:
Cut half a Jagdwurst or Fleischwurst (leo.org suggests "pork sausage" as a translation, but I am not convinced) into small cubes, put it into a big pan or a small pot with a little butter, fry for a while.
Cut half an onion into small cubes, add it to the pan. Do not let it fry for too long, or else it will turn brown and not taste well.
Add a table spoon full of flour.
Quickly add a bottle of mild or medium tomato ketchup, fill bottle with some water, shake, add that ketchupy water to the pan.
Stir and let it simmer for a while.
Tastes fantastic. My absolutely favorite spaghetti sauce. |
