Not heard of that one. As far as I'm aware it's not a form of Gaelic, it's Yet Another Language. Like Cornish, but people still speak Welsh.
Not just a train station, but the longest place name in the world, apparently. I think it's the world anyway - certainly in Europe. Takes ages to say, is more or less impossible to say anyway (for English-speakers anyway, the 'll' in Welsh is a seriously odd sound), and also happens to be a tourist attraction in Wales. I guess people want to stand in front of the signs and have their picture taken. Kind of like policemen getting their pictures taken by a sign that says 'Letsbie Avenue'. I've seen one of those, not sure if it was faked or not. |
