There is no season for eating chocolate. But working chocolate is definitely seasonal. Working temperature of chocolate is 86-90 degrees F. Appropriate ambient temperature is around 20 degrees cooler. When the temperature outdoors is 100 degrees, there is no way my airconditioner can bring the temperature indoors down to where it needs to be. Thus, chocolate is out of season for me (since I am a chocolatier).
