At least, not in my opinion. I do believe in God. I believe a lot of things about God, too, as do most religious people.
I've come to these beliefs after a lot of thought, but I'm open to the idea that any or all of them may not be correct. They've changed before (all peoples' beliefs change over time - all church's beliefs do, too - some just won't admit it and fear the idea), and they may change again.
When I - when any of us - stop being open to that process of questioning and change, that's when we're really in trouble, because that means if we don't have it exactly right at the moment we shut that door, we'll never get it. ;-) |
