Thank You for all of your concern and support! see here for last post The fire is now a Type 1 Fire Incident which is the highest that it can go to. 500 homes are threatened, 9 have been destroyed, 1 business has been destroyed and numerous outbuildings have been lost. 3 firefighters have been injured but no lives have been lost. Last report has the fire at 2000+ acres and still out of control. We have fire crews in from Sacramento (150 miles away), Elk Grove (near Sacramento) as well as all over Nevada. Carson City is filled with smoke and the nasty daystar is just an orange blob in the sky. The wind is expected to die down tonight and, unfortunately pick back up tomorrow.
