Has anyone seen any of my wireless by hadji 2004-07-14 18:29:19
connectons around here? I keep losing them.

Ok, here's the scoop. I've got a Motorola wireless bridge and a Linksys wireless router. I keep losing my connection, at least once a day. And I have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get it back. Whenever I think I have the proper procedure for resetting it, it seems to change the next day or not work at all.

I want to set up another wireless network at another site, so I bought another wireless router. This time I got a Motorola, and I'm testing it with my bridge in the hopes that brand matching will provide a stable connection. If this pans out, I figure I'll keep the new router here and take the Linksys to the other site.

It's all for personal use anyway, so if the Linksys itself has an inherent problem, I won't be dumping it on anyone else, just back on me again. :-| But I'm at the other site much less frequently, so it won't be as big a deal.
