Get rid of marriage as a legal concept. Just make it a civil union. The straight folks can continue to call it marriage, Pagans can call it handfasting, homosexuals can call it whatever they want--it's all the same in the eyes of the law. I'm not in favor of DOMA laws at all. It's a boneheaded approach to solving the problem. I frankly don't care if you agree with my view on what marriage is or not. I acknowledge that different people have different definitions, which is taken into account with my proposed solution. With my solution, we don't HAVE to agree. And that is the entire point! Nathan
