How can you tell if you've got worms? by oot 2004-07-14 18:18:16
No, I am not joking. I have had regular exposure to animals with worms, and I am beginning to suspect I may have picked something up along the way. Disgusting symptoms omitted lest they be in violation of the FYOSR.

OK, that's not really the issue. I can say, and feel reasonably certain, that I probably have worms. The issue is "I am at camp. I do not have access to a doctor here. There is no way I am going to tell the camp staff that I think I have worms so I can go to a doctor. What do I do?" And, I guess the other issue is getting a doc to take it seriously... one of the vets at the clinic a while ago talked about how she had a heck of a time convincing her doctor that she had them (and she's a doctor herself... I'm just a nobody who probably doesn't even know the scientific name for whatever I probably have).
