ASCII Network schematic: Internet <FW1> DMZ <FW2> Internal network Put the "Killer game PC" in the DMZ Put the "Protected" machine on the Internal network <FW1> and <FW2> Any combination of A) Cheap DSL/Cablemodem router Available for less than $75 at your locale PC/Electronics place B) A dual homed Linux Box running firewall software, e.g. iptables "A" is cheap and easy, but not as flexible "B" Much more flexible, but requires more clue As for spec'ing your PCs, you're on your own. :-)
