with US media when aren't they taking a poke by Celticess 2004-07-14 18:00:00
at canada? They've done it for as long as I can remember. We tend to be matter of fact reporting on it however our comedy shows tend to take a diffrent route. They do alot of political satire and well the US politicians give them ample stuff for that. Usually though we laugh off the press from the US... and I think most of us figure americans must know better and they can't be so stupid to buy into all the press hype all the time. However admittedly I personally find the press sensationalism in the US and UK to be a bit bizzare at times.(those are the two countries that stand out for press antics at least as far as what we get in our own media here)

With my son... thanks I try. I've raised him to try to be tolerant and caring. That he should be nice even if he doesn't agree with whatever for the most part. I've also tried to get him to make choices for himself. Sometimes it just naturally comes that he figures things out other times it's more of a struggle.("What do you like/want sweetie?" "I don't know mommy what do you like?" "No honey you have to choose not me... what do you choose?")
