They are narrowminded and buy their own dogma rather than keep an open mind and look at what the real problems are.
As long as they have an idea for a "workable" solution, they feel comfortable in ignoring anyone else who tells them what else would work. And if their solution hasn't been implemented (probably because it's insane), so much the better - they can deny your solution just as much, if not moreso, because their solution has never been _proven_ wrong.
Drug abuse will occur even if the drugs are legal - that's why it's called abuse instead of use. We have alcohol abuse, distinct from alcohol use.
Punishing society because they are morally offended is a sickening, sinful thing for these fundies to do. Jesus would LART them hard. |
